24 weeks!!!!

Everything is still going great! We did found out this week that the placenta has moved up and out of the way. The Dr also said that Kelby is a week ahead of the average growth schedule. I’m pretty sure she has my feet because they are huge.

I can’t believe we only have a little over 3 months…. CRAZY!!! It is going by so fast. Every day I am getting more and more anxious to meet her.

Here are some more baby and belly pictures. I will try not to be so lazy the next 16 weeks with my updates.

Almost 22 weeks…

We are now past the half-way mark and are on our way to the finish line. The only changes I have to report is the size of my belly and the fact that my belly button has officially vanished! I have now gained almost 15 lbs and less than 2 weeks until the 3rd trimester which will begin the 6th month. CRAZY!!!

John is able to get Kelby moving and kicking at night before bed by talking and singing to her. She loves to hear him talk. John has been so wonderful and I could not ask for a better husband… he is going to be such an awesome daddy!

19 Weeks

We are now getting ready to go into our 20th week this week which means we will be at the half way point! We had our monthly Dr appointment last Tuesday and we were told that I have to take it easy for the next few weeks because the plecenta is not moving up as quickly as it should be. The Dr said that this is completly normal for the 2nd trimester so not to worry. The positive outlook about it is that we get to see the specialist for a sonogram every 4 weeks to check on everything. I can't express what a joy and excitment it is to see how much our baby has grown since the last time we saw her. We will meet with the specialist again on the 22nd to see if there are any changes.

I have been feeling so much more movement this past week! I feel her a lot in the mornings and after leaving the gym. I think she really likes to do cardio, "I'm glad someone is enjoying it" :)

It's a Girl!

We are so excited we are having a little girl!!! We went to our appointment last Friday to check the development of “Baby Burrows” and everything so far is good. We were able to see a very clear picture to be convinced that she is a GIRL. I thought that I was feeling little kicks last week but after seeing her position of being upside down I figured out that the feeling is hiccups and punches.

We are going to name our blessed little baby girl “Kelby Lynn”. The grandmothers have began to buy the first of the baby girl outfits that are absolutely adorable! It is going to be so much fun shopping for a little girl!

Well, we are now 17 weeks and I am hoping to feel the baby soon! It has been so amazing to wake up every morning to a growing baby bump. We are still counting down the days to see if “Baby Burrows” is a boy or girl. Check out how round my tummy is beginning to get!

Baby Bump

Baby Burrows is still cooking in the oven. We are counting down the days until our next Dr's appointment to find out if we are having a little girl or a little boy! In other news, I am starting to grow out of my civilian clothes now so I am going to break down and buy some maternity pants this weekend. Oh how exciting… I posted some pictures below to show the growing belly bump.

2nd Dr's appointment

John and I had our 2nd Dr's appointment today! Although we were unable to find out the sex we were still able to see Baby Burrows swimming around like a "state" champ...in John's words. We didn't get a real clear picture today but it was so wonderful just to see the baby. The times the baby was facing us we were able to see the baby sucking its thumb and we even got a "high-five" allowing us to see all of the fingers on one hand. Last month all we saw were little numbs for the hands so it was amazing to see how much the baby has grown in the past 4 weeks. We were told today that the baby is a whopping 4 inches long!! CRAZY....

We have 2 appointments in April: One on the 24th with a sonogram specialist to hopefully determine the SEX and to also see if there are any developmental problems. Then another one on the 28th for our regular 4 week check up with our Doctor.

I have posted 2 pics below of Baby Burrows which are kind of hard to see what you are looking at. The top one (looking left to right) is the baby facing away from us showing the back of the head and a GREAT shot of the spine. The bottom one we were told was a profile picture so when looking left to right you can see the head outline on the left but it is very hard to make out any other body parts.

Tomorrow the baby will be going on 15 weeks so I will begin to update our blog weekly to show the growing baby bump.
